Resident Evil 2 only released a few weeks ago but after the eye-gouging DLC the game came out with they have decided to release some free ones. One is called the Ghost Survivors and provides “what if” scenarios for three mostly minor characters in the game. The other DLC is costumes inspired by the 1998 originals for Leon and Claire.
The Ghost Survivors alternative stories allow you to experience the game from the point of view of Robert Kendo (the Kendo shop owner), Katherine Warren (the mayor’s daughter), and Ghost (a member of the Umbrella Security Service). You will take on the role of these characters in the No Time to Mourn, Runaway, and Forgotten Soldier scenarios. Each scenario can be completed in regular mode, or the new Training mode.

Resident Evil 2 (PS) – Good Game #100:
Above is the video I made a while back for my ongoing Good Game feature. Watch to see what the original looked and played like.
The Ghost Survivors is coming as free DLC in February! Countless lives were lost in the unprecedented biological disaster which eventually came to be known as the “Raccoon City Incident.” If only things had gone just a little bit differently, perhaps a few more souls might have survived… The Ghost Survivors explores this “if only,” showing the imagined fates of three victims of the Raccoon City Incident. Turn back the clock, and explore this “what if” scenario as a member of a special forces team, the mayor’s daughter, and a certain gun shop owner.
Resident Evil 2 PC Costumes:
It is great that you can play as Kendo seeing he is probably one of the most memorable characters in the original Resident Evil 2 and member of the Umbrella Security Service are always fun to play as too. It is also cool to see some fan service given for people who played the original game with the classic costumes even if they feel a bit out-of-place and something that in the old days would have been already in the game as a secret.
Resident Evil 2 Ghost Survivors and the 1998 Costume DLCs are now available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
