505 Games the publishers and Overkill Software the developers of Payday 2 have now released the first episode of their new web series inspired by the game. It is directed by Demian Lichtenstein the person behind 3000 Miles to Graceland (that’s about it) and the first episode shows Dallas, Hoxton, Wolf and Chains as they do what do best, heist with guns.

I bought the first game, Payday: The Heist recently on a Steam sale and its a pretty good game even if isn’t the type of heist game I thought it would be. The sequel Payday 2 looks to build upon the original game in some good ways so I am looking forward to see what they manage to come up with.
New web series episodes will be released every two weeks leading up to the lauch of Payday 2 on 15 August on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
