Valve’s newest bit of after thought DLC has finally been released for PC users.
The DLC is called Cold Stream: “This community created campaign throws you deep in the back woods to face thousands of zombies as you battle your way to a helicopter rescue. Don’t let the water or waves of zombies sweep you away to your death.”
The DLC features Crash Course, Death Toll, Dead Air, and Blood Harvest campaigns from Left 4 Dead and a new community created campaign known as Cold Stream. In addition to that all game type Mutations which use to be on a Valve rotation are now available whenever you want.
“With this update, all of the Mutations are now available to you all the time. Xbox players will need to own The Passing DLC for access to Mutations.”
Left 4 Dead 2’s Cold Stream DLC was set for release today for Xbox 360 but you can’t currently download it yet.
The official Left 4 Dead Twitter account said: We are working with Microsoft on a release schedule. We don’t have an ETA yet but we hope to have it out soon. It will be 560pts.”
It will be available next week.
More details can be found on their Cold Stream Update page. To celebrate the launch of Cold Stream Left 4 Dead 2 is currently 75% off on Steam.
