I havent played any of the ARMA (Armed Assault) games since ARMA: Cold War Assault (Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis to be more precise) and Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising so I don’t know much about all the new ARMA games or if they are any good. I sort of lost track when they had that confusing argument over the Operation Flashpoint name between Bohemia Interactive and Codemasters Studios. Bohemia Interactive the orignal developers make the ARMA games while Codemaster Studios kept the original Operation Flashpoint name and now make the new Operation Flashpoint games, weird.
As the ITV documentary Exposure: Gaddafi and the IRA showed ARMA II must be pretty realistic to be mistaken for real footage.
Anyway the lesson to learn from this is to support both franchises. Both are good in their own way.
The ARMA games sale ends on Thursday at 4pm PDT.
