Developer and publisher Nintendo has released The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The anticipated return to the world of Hyrule that once again needs saving.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom mixes several games to make a new experience in the Zelda series. It has abilities that allow you to reverse time, join weapons together, construct devices, vehicles, and structures, and one that lets you travel up through flat surfaces. A later ability called “Zonaite” allows you to summon previously built structures.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has unsurprisingly received universally good reviews. It builds upon the previous game and adds a lot more. There are performance problems in places but overall seems that Nintendo has once again shown the capabilities of their own hardware.
I still haven’t completed The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild after restarting it a while back with all the DLC. At this point, I don’t think I will complete it. With The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom being mostly the same, I don’t think I will be playing it anytime soon. I have gone off open world games.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is now available for Nintendo Switch.
