Steam Summer Sale 2012: Useful Details About the Sales and Day Two Deals are Currently Available

Count down summer day 2 with some video game sales.

Valve’s digital distribution service has recently started its annual summer sale which has tons of games sales on offer. The Steam Summer Sale runs from 22nd July and will feature new games on sales each day.

The community will be able to voting on deals every few hours (“A new deal every eight hours!”) which currently features Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 at 75% off.

There a pack deals which features bundles such as the Square Enix Hit Collection (was £158.93 now £29.99), Paradox Collection (was £203.82 now £39.99) and the Bethesda Collection (was £124.37 now £39.99) which includes The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

There are also sales on free to play game related stuff like DLC which I find and funny and the titles chosen for the daily special discounted prices.

Also worth mention are the flash sales which are time limited heavy discount sales such as Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition which is 75% off for another 1 hour and 33 minutes.

Theres plenty to choose from but only buy stuff you were likely going to get soon or games that you were waiting to go in sale. If you don’t do this Valve have won and you haven’t save any money at all but spent money you wouldn’t have likely spent for it not for the sales.

Worth mentioning is ARMA II: Combined Operations which was £24.99 is now £19.99 for all those people who want to try out the DayZ fad. “The Day Z Mod requires Arma II: Combined Operations which is made up of Arma II and Arma II: Operation Arrowhead”.
